You can do Something

"It's been my observation that many people fail, not because they are doing the wrong things, but because they don't do the right things long enough. While it is a theory that I have never tested, they tell me you can break a rock with a pencil if you tap it enough times. The lesson? Perseverance. Getting back up. You are so important to this world and the plan that God has for it. Don't let discouragement rob you of your destiny. Have you deemed yourself little Mr. Nobody from Nowhere? You say, 'But I am only one!' Edward Everet Hale wrote, 'I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.

Never Give Up!

"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.”
Michael Jordan
Professional Basketball Player
1963 - Present

SO WHAT

"As I sit here alone with my thoughts tonight, I remember some of the times I have failed, fallen and messed up. Some of those events were more than flubs; they were fiascos. One could wonder why I am still here, enjoying the blessed life. The answer is twofold: first, it's because of the grace and mercy of a loving God Who is not the God of a second chance, but the God of another chance. Secondly, I am still here because at the point of my most grievous and embarrassing fall I made a decision to get up and give it another shot. When you fail, you will hear the voices of a crowd who is eager to brand you 'Failure'. But please know there are other voices to be heard; the voice of God and those of hundreds of other christians who are cheering you on. Never give up!"

A little something More.

"No man has ever risen to the real stature of spiritual manhood until he has found that it is finer to serve somebody else than it is to serve himself.”
Woodrow T. Wilson
Twenty Eighth President of the United States
1856 - 1924

SO WHAT?

"Jesus Christ, the ultimate person who has ever lived said, 'I came not to be served, but to serve, and to give my life for many.' Let's follow His example." Everyone of us could give a little more to someone we know. Today I dare you to find someone who you can give a little something more too.
